Postdoc in RLE
Rocca Fellow (2014)
Giovanni Azzellino joined ONE Lab in February 2014 as a Visiting Scientist. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Politenico di Milano, Italy. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc., both in Electrical Engineering, at the Politecnico di Milano, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. During his PhD, he developed organic photodetectors fully manufactured by inkjet printing in the group of Prof. Sampietro at Politecnico di Milano. Then, he joined ONE Lab to study quantum dots for lighting applications and to prototype devices by inkjet printing.
Current Research: 1) LEDs based on spherical and heterostructured quantum dots; 2) Inkjet printing of QD-LEDs for display applications; 3) LEDs based on perovskite nanocrystals; 4) Understanding the relationship between photoluminescence and conductivity at the microscale in organic-inorganic perovskites
